VDOT is the single largest customer for the asphalt industry. More than four million tons of mix per year is provided for use on VDOT projects or to VDOT directly. Beyond this tonnage, VDOT specifications and guidelines impact most of the non-VDOT tonnage produced in the state. With VDOT having such a big impact, both directly and indirectly, it is important that companies understand what VDOT wants and VDOT understands what companies can provide. Through formal and informal meetings, this exchange of information can strengthen the partnership between each entity.

On the morning of October 14, VDOT Senior Leadership will meet with VAA Members from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Hilton Hotel Richmond Downtown.
